Dr. Tim Ruttan completed his residency training in Emergency Medicine at the University of Arizona in Tucson, and after working in a community Emergency Department he returned to academics to complete a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship in Austin, Texas. He is a graduate of Baylor College of Medicine as well as an undergraduate degree in Government from Harvard University.
Dr. Ruttan currently works clinically in the Pediatric Emergency Department at Dell Children’s Medical Center and the general Emergency Department at Seton Medical Center Austin. He is actively involved in the education and teaching of medical students, residents and fellows at the University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School, where he also serves as the assistant research director for the pediatric emergency medicine fellowship. In addition, he is on a number of advisory boards and committees locally and nationally for emergency medicine and pediatric emergency medicine. |
